The “rating” object is the overall Tripadvisor Traveler rating for a POI, which takes into account the quality, quantity, and age of individual travelers' ratings and reviews from one bubble to five bubbles. Unlike the Popularity Ranking, the overall bubble rating is an absolute measure of quality.

The rating and rating image URL are returned in the response for a specific POI as follows. The image must be hosted by Tripadvisor using the URL provided in the response and must not be hosted locally:

"rating_image_url": "http://www.tripadvisor.com/img/cdsi/img2/ratings/traveler/5.0-MCID-5.svg",
"rating": "5.0",

Percent Recommended is another absolute measure of quality. This field has been deprecated as of March 2015. Value will display as 'null.'
