Mega feeds

Mega feeds provide regularly updated static access to Tripadvisor content. Partners can integrate the content into their websites and applications by downloading the data file from Tripadvisor feed servers and displaying the data from the feed on their site or in their app.

We reserve the right to change the fields and data available in the feeds at any time. We will make every effort to communicate changes with partners and to update the documentation and schemas as changes are made.

Why Mega feeds vs. API?

Mega feeds should be used by partners who do not require real-time content or partners who will exceed the daily API limits.

How and when is it delivered?

The data is updated and delivered daily and can be picked up by the partner as needed. The data will be provided in either XML or JSON format via zipped files uploaded to Tripadvisor feed server. The URLs will be provided to the partner by Tripadvisor. Partners can download feed files from the URLs provided.

XML Format: Wikipedia

JSON Format: Wikipedia

Types of Feeds

We offer five types of feeds:

  • GeoList;
  • PropertyList;
  • ReviewList;
  • NReviewList;
  • PhotoList.

ReviewList is updated with newly changed reviews only (reviews with status: new, removed, updated, or management response). All other feeds will update daily with a rolling 10 days of content.

  • Some data may not be shared with partners due to the source of the data.
