Implementation Testing

To make a test booking, follow these steps:

• Use one of the Viator product links from the JSON API 
• Search for one of the following products on Viator by directly pasting the code into the search window and hitting enter
  • 2916PALMAPRT
  • 3037DUCK
  • 2800SLR
  • 2916ATHENS

 

• Verify you are redirected to the product page
• Select a date far in the future (>2 months)
• Select a passenger mix
• Click “Check Availability”

 

• Click “Confirm Availability” on the next screen
• Enter all the necessary fields needed to check out
  • You may enter test booking, e.g., in all of the mandatory fields
  • Use a real email to receive a confirmation of the booking
  • Enter the following credit card for an auto-approval:
    • Number: 4242424242424242
    • Card security number: 747 
    • Expiry date: Any valid future date
• Click “Book Now”
• Verify that you receive a success confirmation page.
